Texas — student data privacy
Texas Education Code Chapter 32 Subchapter B; HB 18 (SCOPE Act, 2024)
Texas requires school service providers to enter into a written contract with the district that addresses data ownership, security, breach notification, and prohibits the use of data for any purpose other than the contracted service.
